Inheritance is a natural process for a society to evolve. However, it may have side effects that slow down development when inequities persist, leading to negative feelings and insecurity. This is particularly true for financial inheritance or donations, which concentrate power among select individuals.

While social inheritance can be smoothed over time through general education, financial inheritance requires deeper systemic changes, especially when large capital investments are needed upfront for development.

Alternatively, one could consider banning financial inheritance and donations, instead using the public system to fairly redistribute accumulated assets among people.
