Here is a summary of the current proposed general societal roadmap that results from our analysis. More information can be found with links at the bottom. Some statements still need further clarification and support.
- Facilitate the education and support of people’s generic goals as this will speed up positive changes through enhanced individual productivity and wellbeing. Please check Goal Setting Basics for background and high level content proposal.
- Transition to plant-based consumption and release of space to nature to enhance wildlife wellbeing and increase CO2 storage within forests. (Check Earth Land Split and Plant-Based Consumption for more background.
- Transition to renewable energy, mostly with solar combined with geothermal and wood/biomass interseasonal energy storage. This can be facilitated using tax on non-renewable fuels, which would be redirected to the development of renewables. Also, indexation of the energy price to solar power would naturally cause a shift in use when that energy is at its maximum, and the development of interseasonal energy storage. Check Clean and Safe Energy for more background.
- Setting up of a standard and time-limited budget resource per individual and entity, which would be dedicated to cover basic needs such as food, energy, lodging, education, health, and insurances. This could represent a universal salary but ensures its use for the identified purpose. Please check Budget Resources for further details.
- Remove the concept of financial inheritance and donations, which are sources of inequities and insecurity. See Inheritance for more insight.
- Decrease the amount of resources used by individuals to a level that allows sufficient comfort and productivity. This can be achieved with more efficient infrastructure and automation of tasks. Please check Enhanced Automation for more information.
These actions and measures are likely to make the world a safer place, more equitable among sentient beings and humans. Some of them are already taking place but sometimes at a slow pace, and limited by factors like inequities and lack of safety. It is noted that these may take time to take shape but the more we support them, the faster they will take place
